Sickle Cell Anemia was one of the highlights of our recent meeting featuring Alva Culmer, who is the mother of a child who suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia. Alva's quest is to educate the public about the disease and to begin a support network for persons with the disease and their families. At our meeting, PP Ian Carey purchased a ribbon for everyone in attendance in support.
