“ROTARIAN IN THE SPOTLIGHT” - Susan Culmer

Rotarian Susan Culmer,  Accounting & Audit Officer for the Bahamas Government, serving on the island of Eleuthera, has been a member of the Rotary Club of Eleuthera for the past two (2) years.  This passionate Rotarian is currently serving as our Club’s Treasurer and is a stickler for details and handling funds with integrity and professionalism. Here job function is to ensure that public funds are used for the intended purpose, that value for money is received, funds collected are deposited on a timely basis and ensure accountability and transparency.  As a result of her vocation, she is able to assist with proper record keeping and handling of funds raised and entrusted to our club.  She displays the highest standards and has served several organizations on the island with integrity and gives her all to every task she undertakes. Susan is an avid crafter since 2006 and has served as President of the Handicraft Association, Treasurer of the Cancer Society Eleuthera Branch (2009-Present), Treasurer of Palmetto Point Homecoming and the Jensen Beach Travel Club.
