Happy Independence Day to all our Bahamian Rotarians!
Fifty-three years ago, The Bahamas charted its own course — building a nation on the strength of its people, its resilience, and its unshakeable community spirit. Today, as we celebrate that independence, we also celebrate the same spirit that drives our Rotary family across District 7020.
This Rotary year, our theme is to Create Lasting Impact — and there's no better example of what lasting impact looks like than the story of The Bahamas itself. Independence wasn't a single moment; it was the beginning of decades of building, adapting, and rising together. That's exactly the work ahead of us through the *Caribbean Resilience Initiative* — strengthening our communities so they can withstand storms, both literal and figurative, and thrive for generations to come.
To every Rotary Club across the archipelago: thank you for the service, leadership, and heart you bring to this district. Wishing you a Happy Independence Day filled with pride, family, and celebration.
